Jihad is the Most Virtuous Deed!
In the way of Allah, jihad is the most virtuous of deeds. Mujahideen who fight in the way of Allah are the best of people. The evidence of this from the book and sunnah is as follows:
Those who sit (back from jihad) without having excuse from the believers and those who fight in the way of Allah with their wealth and their lives cannot be equal. Allah has made those who fight with their wealth and their lives superior to the rest of the jihad in terms of degree. Although Allah has promised all (of the believers) the best (paradise). But he made the mujahideen superior to the rest of the jihad with degrees, forgiveness and mercy from himself with a great reward. Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.( Nisa,95)
In Sahih-i Bukhari, it was reported that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are a hundred degrees in heaven; Allah has prepared them for those who fight in the way of Allah. There is a distance between the two degrees between heaven and earth.
According to the narration of Abu Said al-Hudri (may Allah be pleased with him) in Sahih-i Muslim, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abu Said, whoever is pleased with Allah as a Lord, Islam as a religion and Muhammad as a Prophet, paradise will be obligatory/necessary for him." Abu Said liked this word and said, O Messenger of Allah, if you repeat this word to me. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) repeated his word and said: "There is another virtue that, thanks to which Allah raises His servant a hundred degrees in Paradise. Between each degree, it is as much as between the earth and the sky.'' Abu Said: What is that haslet, O Messenger of Allah? He asked. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Jihad in the way of Allah is jihad in the way of Allah."
In addition, Allah (subhanehu teala) has denied those who make the relationship between jihad and other good deeds equal and the superiority of the mujahideen over other people. Allahu Teala says:
"Did you treat the distribution of water to the pilgrims and the maintenance and repair of the Al-Sacred Mosque like the one who believes in Allah and the Last Day and fights in the way of Allah? These are not equal in the sight of Allah. Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. Those who believe and migrate and fight in the way of Allah with their wealth and their lives, their ranks are better in the sight of Allah. Those are the ones who are successful. Their Lord gives them glad tidings of mercy and pleasure from Him and gardens in which there will be inexhaustible blessings. They will abide therein forever. Indeed, there is a great reward with Allah. (Repentance,19-22)
It is reported in Sahih-i Muslim that he said the following from Numan bin Bishir (Radıyallahu Anh) about the reason for these verses: I was with the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him), a man said; "After I became a Muslim, I would not care if I do anything except for distributing water to the pilgrims, I would not care." Another said: Even if I repair the Kaaba, I don't care if I don't do anything else," he said. Another said, "Fighting in the way of Allah is more virtuous than what you say." It was a Friday. Omar (may Allah be pleased with him who listened to these): Do not raise your voice like this next to the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah. After I made Friday, the Messenger of Allah said, "I will ask and learn about the subject you disagree with." Allah (glory and celle) also sent down this verse.
"Have you regarded the distribution of water to the pilgrims and the maintenance and repair of the Holy Mosque as the one who believes in Allah and the Last Day and fights in the way of Allah?"(s) Repentance,19)
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "A man came to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Show me a deed that will coincide with jihad. After that, the Messenger of Allah said: "I cannot find a deed worthy of jihad. When the mujahid goes out on a campaign, do you have the power to enter the mosque and pray and fast constantly without relaxing (until he returns)?'' That person said: Whose power is enough for this?''( Bukhari)
It was reported that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "What does the Prophet (Sallallahu Aleyhi wa Sallam) coincide with jihad in the way of Allah? He was asked. He said: "You can't afford it." They repeated this question two or three times. Every time he replied, "You can't afford it." He then said: "The likeness of a jawhid in the way of Allah is the one who fasts and prays without interruption during the day and night, who obeys the signs of Allah and does not relax from prayer and fasting until the mujahideen turns from the way of Allah."( Muslim)
In the Muaz hadith in Tirmizi, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The beginning of the work is Islam, the pillar is prayer and the peak is jihad."
Allame Ibn Recep Al-Hanbeli says: "Zirvetu senamihi: It has the greatest and highest meaning. This shows that jihad is the most virtuous of deeds after the obligations. As a matter of fact, this word is the word of Ahmet Bin Hanbel and other scholars.
These are some verses and hadiths about the virtue of jihad and mujahideen. Mujahideen are the most virtuous of the ummah. Because their deeds are the most virtuous, the highest and the most in terms of reward and reward.
The reason for this is that because of the mujahideen, the ummah finds glory, rape and blood are protected, roads are safe, peace spreads, the ummah is saved from unjust enemies, the paths of knowledge and invitation are facilitated and the pilgrimage of Allah is performed on his servants.
Others offer their wealth, they (mujahideen) offer their lives. Even if others sacrifice their time, they (mujahideen) sacrifice the world and what is in it.
They (mujahideen) are the ones who are subjected to the greatest and most severe tests among people. The Prophet (peace be upon him) says. "The most violent people in terms of trouble are the prophets. Then they are the most superior in terms of rank.''
Ibn Kudame (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "Jihad is to spend life and property. Small, big, strong, weak, effective and female Muslims. Nothing in terms of benefit, reward and virtue can be subject to jihad.
Sheikh Islam Ibn Taymiyya (rahimehullah) says: "There is too much evidence in the Qur'an and Sunnah about the obligation of jihad and the virtue of jihad. Therefore, it is the most virtuous worship that a person will perform in extra. With the alliance of scholars, jihad is more virtuous than Hajj, Umrah, vain prayer and fasting. As a matter of fact, the Qur'an and the Sunnah clearly show this. So much so that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "The beginning of the work is Islam, the pillar is prayer, the peak is jihad."
There has been no equal deed in jihad about the reward and virtue of deeds. When you look at it, it is clear.
Undoubtedly, the benefit of jihad is universal for everyone. It includes all of the types of both zahir and western worship. Because jihad also includes courtship, intrusion, trust, surrendering life and property to him, patience, zühdu and remembering Him, and other types that other worships cannot cover. The jihadist community or individual is always between victory and victory or martyrdom and paradise. Moreover, death and life are inevitable for the created. In jihad, they have to use their lives and deaths for the happiness of this world and the hereafter. In the abandonment of jihad, there is a loss or decrease in both happiness. Because there are some people who desire forced work in religion and in the world, even if their interests are few. Jihad, on the other hand, is more useful than any kind of work in both. Sometimes a person wants to promote his soul until death comes. The death of the martyr is easier than other deaths and is the best of deaths.( Es-Siyasetu'ş Şeriyye, 159 syf)
He also says: "As far as I know, scholars have allied themselves between the worships performed for Allahu Teala that there is no vain worship that is more virtuous than jihad. Jihad is more virtuous than pilgrimage, extra fasting and extra prayer. Keeping ribat in the way of Allah is better than being a neighbor to Mecca, Medina and Beytul Makdis.''( Mecmu'ul Fetava, 28/418)
